Privacy Policy

At Success Loans Australia ® we only collect personal information that we need and we only use the information that we collect for the primary purpose(s) for which we collect it.

These are:
1. To assist the client in the borrowing of funds for Private or Business purposes
2. To assist the client in supplying the information requested by the lending institution
3. To assist the client in clarifying their personal and financial details in order to secure the finance/mortgage facility they require
4. To help the client source related financial services that may be necessary to support the client’s finance/mortgage application (such as life insurance, property insurance, financial planning etc.).
5. To conduct our business within the guidelines described in the Codes set out by the UCCC and the Mortgage Industry Association of Australasia.

This Policy applies to all the information we collect, whether from clients, employees or others.

We do not use or disclose the information for any other purposes without a person’s consent.

In particular, we do not:
a. Trade, rent or sell personal information
b. Provide personal information to anyone other than finance/mortgage providers and their appointed representatives without consent.

Stricter requirements apply to sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive information without consent unless:
c. The collection is required by law
d. It is necessary for the establishment, exercise or justification of an application for finance/ mortgage.

We always obtain consent when we collect or disclose sensitive information. In most cases this will occur in the usual course of dealings, through our Referral Forms.

Eg: referring you to a specialist adviser for a personal accident, life insurance or property insurance or professional indemnity policy.

Following our procedures will assist in ensuring that consent is obtained.

The Privacy Act does allow us to use or disclose information in some other unusual circumstances. If you want to use or disclose personal information for any reason other than those described above, check with our Privacy Officer before doing so.
